How followers fit on TikTok
TikTok is less about the follower count than Instagram is. Videos reach people through the For You feed whether you have 50 followers or 50,000, so a bigger number won’t make the next video travel. Where the number does matter is on the profile itself: brands scanning for creators, viewers deciding whether to follow after a video they liked, and milestones like 1,000 followers that unlock LIVE in most regions.
