Can you buy Australian Instagram followers?
Lots of shops sell “Australian” or “Aussie” followers at a premium. Here’s why we don’t, and what actually brings local people to an Instagram account.
Not in a way anyone can check. Our followers aren’t chosen by country, and we don’t describe them as Australian. If you need people in your town to follow you, the methods further down this page work; a package won’t.
Why “Australian followers” is a hard promise to keep
An Instagram account doesn’t carry a verified nationality. A follower may have an Australian-sounding name, a profile photo of Bondi and a bio mentioning Melbourne, and still have been created anywhere. Sellers who offer “Aussie” followers at a higher price are, at best, supplying accounts that look Australian. You can’t verify where they’re from, and Instagram’s Account Insights may well show a very different picture of your audience after the order.
That matters most if you plan to show a brand your audience breakdown. A sudden spike in followers from countries you’ve never posted about is the first thing an agency notices.
What we sell instead
We sell follower and like packages that raise the visible numbers, priced in Australian dollars and described plainly. The site is written for Australian buyers, the checkout charges in A$, and the refund terms are written with the Australian Consumer Law in mind. The followers themselves are not Australian, not targeted and not active in any way we could promise.
If what you want is a profile that doesn’t look empty while you build a real local audience, that’s a reasonable use. See our Instagram follower packages.
How to actually reach Australians on Instagram
- Use location tags on every post, specific ones: the suburb or venue, not just “Australia”.
- Post when your audience is awake. Perth is two to three hours behind Sydney depending on daylight saving; a 7pm AEDT post lands at 4pm in WA.
- Collaborate locally. Collab posts with the café next door, the local footy club or a market organiser put you in front of people who live nearby.
- Write like a local. Captions mentioning the place, the weather, the event that weekend give people a reason to stop.
- Run a small, targeted ad. A boosted post limited to a radius around your business is one of the few ways to buy genuinely local attention. Instagram decides who sees it, but you set the area.
